CONDUCTING

Jae has conducted some of the most famous orchestras in the World, with some of the most famous artistes in the World, in some of the most iconic venues in the World.

Classically, Jae has conducted and hosted many Last Night Of The Proms Spectacular concerts. These have seen him conducting around the UK in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Castle Howard, Harewood House, Warwick Castle, Battle Abbey, Calke Abbey, RAF Duxford, RAF Lyneham and working with some of the most famous orchestras in the world, including the Royal Philharmonic , the Philharmonia, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, English National Orchestra of which he is Principal Conductor, The Bangkok Symphony, The Istanbul State Symphony and the Wren Orchestra.

Jae conducted the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert with Russell Watson at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, and has worked with international stars such as Sarah Walker, Julian Lloyd-Webber, Sarah Brightman, Sir Willard White, Wynne Evans, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Sir Patrick Moore, Charlotte Church & Aled Jones.

Popular concerts have included, Summertime - An Evening of Gershwin at Kenwood House starring Michael Ball, Stairway To The Stars at the London Palladium, Ira Gershwin Centennial for the BBC at the Royal Albert Hall, and numerous other concerts featuring stars such as Glenn Campbell, Bonnie Tyler, Madeleine Bell, Harry Secombe, Beverley Knight, Alfie Boe & John Owen Jones.

Whilst consistently working in the West End, Jae has also been Musical Director on numerous television & radio programmes for BBC Radio 2, BBC Wales and S4C, including three series of Codi’r To (Raise The Roof), two series of Peter Karrie Unmasked, Mardi Gras and Ar Gamera. For the BBC, Jae has recorded The Magic Of the Musicals, The Gershwin Centennial Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, conducted on many Royal Variety performances with West End Musicals and recorded Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2. Recently he worked on the film My Policeman starring Harry Styles.
